WINEMAKER NOTES
The winerys name is in honor of the Cordouan Lighthouse, the oldest in Europe, located at the Gironde Estuary and built in the early 1600s. Interestingly, in spite of being produced from grapes from the Mdoc region, it is usually a Merlot-led blend and complemented with CS. Really good and affordable Bordeaux red; really enjoyed it. Tasting notes are plum, oak, blackberry, leather, and almond.
